"Both of our children attended this school and to say that the experience was excellent would be a significant understatement. They each attended La Jolla Village Montessori School for two years prior to starting kindergarten. This school gave them a wonderful foundation to go into elementary school with.

Before having children, my husband and I read books about how important those first five years are to a child's development. So it was important to us that the school we chose for our children during ages 3 - 5 was a nurturing, focused learning environment where they would make positive associations with school early on. This school did that and much more. We love this school and we wish it wasn't time to move on yet!

They offer the most wonderful, joy filled learning environment for children. Our daughters learned how to read, calculate basic math (addition/subtraction), learned each of the continents and planets, and the lifecycles of several different plants and animals, participated in science experiments, learned introductory Spanish, and more. Their focus and concentration during work time is impressive to both my husband and I. This school encourages children to find joy in doing the things that interest/challenge them. If you want to give your children a beautiful beginning send them to this wonderful school."
