La Jolla Village Montessori Special Events

Our school takes great pride in providing students as well as parents a variety of unique experiences. These special events are a blast for the children and provide parent's incredible memories. Over the years we've found that these events bolster our school's community introducing and providing parents with face time to each other.

Parent Orientation
​
We kick start each new school year with a Parent Orientation.
This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about our school, the teachers, the Montessori Program as well as meet other parents.
Fall Festival
​
Joanne's favorite season growing up on the East Coast was always autumn with the colored leaves and crisp air.
Each year there's a bit of the East Coast at La Jolla Village Montessori School for the children and the parents to enjoy.
We cover the backyard with colored leaves and bring in farm animals for a petting zoo as well as pony rides for the children.
Students and parents come to enjoy games, activities, pie and cider together with other La Jolla Village Montessori families.
La Jolla Holiday Parade

As a tradition La Jolla Village Montessori School participates in the La Jolla Holiday Parade.
Two beautiful wagons are pulled by Clydesdale and Belgian horses. It is so much fun!
The children ride in the horse drawn wagons with their teachers. Parents enjoy walking the parade route along side.
It is always a very festive and memorable day.
Mother's Evening &
Father's Evening
​
These separate evenings are very special for children to enjoy with their mother and father.
You return to the school in the evening and your child will enjoy explaining the work they do each day. The children are so proud of themselves and ecstatic to have the opportunity to share with you.
End of Year Program
​
In the beginning of June we come together as a family to celebrate and honor our children.
They have all grown over the past nine months: emotionally, socially and academically.
These beautiful little scholars are very proud of the presentation they'll share with you.
